Consider awarding from bids received for County Road 138- SH 130 to CR 137, bid #12IFB00004 to the lowest and best bidder – Aaron Concrete Contractors LP.

Background

In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, Aaron Concrete
successfully completed the FM 1660 @ Landfill Rd (CR 128) and the US 183 @ FM 3405
Intersection Improvements projects under the Road Bond Program.
Based on the quality of work performed by the contractor and the favorable working relationship established with the
County and its Representatives, we recommend award of the CR 138 construction contract to Aaron Concrete in the contract amount of $2,470,871.13.
