Consider approving Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $1,277.23 for SH 29 Intersection Improvements at Park Place and Jack Nicklaus, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Three.

Background

This Change Order provides for payment of additional work by the Contractor to install block sod at Park Place in lieu of drill seeding, placing additional Ty C hot mix at the subdivision entrances on Jack Nicklaus and Park Place for a smooth tie-in, lengthening & installing additional rock berms to minimize erosion at the downstream ends of Culverts 1 and 3 at Park Place, and for restriping the entrance of Park Place. This Change Order also provides for balancing the overrun/underrun Contract quantities for the project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plan quantities.
