Consider approving Change Order No. 16 in the amount of $1,700.00 for US 79 Section 3, a Pass Through Financing Project in Precinct Four.
Background
This Change Order provides compensation to the Contractor to install thrie-beam transitions in lieu of the specified T101 transitions due to the posted speed limit of 55 mph in the area of the Cottonwood Creek Bridge. The thrie-beam transitions are designed for use when the posted speed limit exceeds 45 mph, where T101 transitions are utilized when speed limits are 45 mph or less.
