Hear report from Dr. Ben Pierce, Professor and holder of the Lillian Nelson Pratt Chair, Department of Biology, Southwestern University, on prelimainary findings as the second year research activities on the Georgetown salamander near completion.

Background

The Williamson County Conservation Foundation and Williamson County agreed in its Habitat Conservation Plan to fund a five year study of the Georgetown salamander (Eurycea naufragia). The study is nearing the completion of its second year. Dr. Pierce will report on activities and preliminary findings from the first two years of the study.
