Discuss and take action on Certificate of Commendation honoring Cory Cook for trail markers he place along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail.

Background

Cory Cook is a Pct. 3 resident who achieved his Quartermaster rank within the Sea Scouts by completing a service project that was very beneficial to the county. Cory placed 12 distance markers along a 2.75 miles section of the Brush Creek Regional Trail. The 100 lbs limestone markers were marked with the distance traveled and a nautilus. As a Sea Scout, Cory felt the nautilus symbolized water, nature, growth and renewal. Since the trail runs along Brushy Creek, he felt it "fit the landscape."
