Consider approval of contract with Gray Hawk Payment Technologies to place kiosk in the jail lobby to accept deposits to inmate trust accounts.

Background

Williamson County inmates currently receive deposits to their commissary account by mail via money order. The kiosk will allow for the deposit of funds to inmate accounts from friends and family by credit card or cash. Additionally, inmates may receive deposits via the web and telephone. The kiosk will interface with the commissary provider software. The deposits will appear in the commissary trust fund as an Electronic Funds Transfer item.
