Request consent from Commissioners' Court members to allow for the collection of a fee of $5.00 to maintain a district court records archive. This request is made pursuant to S.B. No. 1685, and if approved will become effective October 1, 2009.

Background

All monies collected will be placed in a line item in the budget labeled "District Court Technology Fund" to be used for the restoration and preservation of records in the District Clerk's Office.
