Discuss and take appropriate action on Proclamations recognizing the volunteer contributions of Candice Clark and Don VanWassehnova in their efforts to enhance and beautify Berry Springs Park and Preserve.

Background

Ms. Clark created, designed and painted a masterful piece of art, a mural depicting the natural beauty of Berry Springs Park and Preserve including the plant, aquatic and bird life along with the park’s natural amenities. This mural will be a permanent part of the Berry Springs office and will provide many years of enjoyment for park patrons and citizens.

Mr. VanWassehnova has averaged volunteering over 30 hours per week since May 2008 and his work on the grounds of Berry Springs Park and Preserve has received the compliments of park patrons and visitors. His efforts provide park employees the opportunity and ability to attend to other park duties crucial to maintenance and beautification for the benefit of citizens and park patrons.

The efforts of these volunteers is to be commended and recognized by the citizens of Williamson County and all visitors to Berry Springs Park and Preserve.
