Discuss and take appropriate action on a Modification to that certain Intergovernmental Agreement between Williamson County and Immigration Customs Enforcement relating to Low Cost Telephone Services.

Background

The purpose of this modification is to allow ICE to add and fund monthly costs of low cost telephone service at the T. Don Hutto Residential Facility. The low cost telephone service modifies the operation of 10 existing residential phones so the phones will have the following capabilities:

1. Access toll free numbers that will allow the residents to utilize any pre-paid calling cards (whether sold at the Hutto facility or sent to residents from outside the facility); 2. Block ALL incoming calls; and 3. Block 911 outgoing calls.
