Consider granting request by Westwood High School for road closures on Thursday, October 9th for their 2008 Homecoming Parade.

Background

Westwood High School has a tradition of holding a Homecoming Parade during Homecoming week. The parade would be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 9th before the Homecoming football game and would use the same route that has been used for years. The parade will leave the back entrance of Westwood High School and turn left onto Lakecreek Parkway. From Lakecreek Parkway, the parade will turn left onto Millwright Parkway, and then take a left onto Woodland Village. From Woodland Village, the parade will turn left onto Hymeadow and enter the school's back entrance. Mike Gleason has been consulted and verified that the parade has never created a problem in previous years and is ok with the route and the request by the school.
