Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 5 in the amount of -$652,746.74 for Ronald Reagan North Ph 4, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Pct. 3.

Background

This Change Order provides for the balancing overrun/underrun of Contract Quantities for the Project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plan quantities. This Change Order also compensates the Contractor for adding a seal coat and restriping SH 195 near the intersection with Ronald Reagan Blvd to modify the existing center turn lane to provide left turns onto Reagan and into new driveways for adjacent property owners. Finally, this Change Order adds compensation to the Contractor for repairing the radius at CR 234 and guardrail damaged by the traveling public.
