Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding an Interlocal Agreement with Region VIII Education Service Center to provide cooperative purchasing services to Williamson County through a program known as The Interlocal Purchasing System - TIPS Program and authorize County Judge to sign all related documentation.

Background

The Interlocal Purchasing System - TIPS Program is a free membership to state and local governments and non-profit organizations. TIPS is a national purchasing cooperative that offers access to competitively procured purchasing contracts to its membership. TIPS is housed at and managed by the Region 8 Education Service Center located in Pittsburg, Texas.
