Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an administrative modification to incorporate Department of Homeland Security Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards into the Intergovernmental Services Agreement between Williamson County and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Background

See enclosed letter from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This Modification is necessary to implement the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 standards in the Department of Homeland Security facilities and it is also necessary in order to incorporate such standards into the IGSA between Williamson County and ICE. Corrections Corporation of America has reviewed this Modification and will comply with its requirements.
