Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on exempting Arrowhead Forensics from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of Crime Cam Lab FSIS (CrimeCam Examiner+) and Mobile conversion kit.

Background

Arrowhead Forensics is the sole source for the CrimeCam Examiner+ that features a combination Ring-Light and Canon PowerShot G15 camera system, with narrow band pass filter. Arrowheard Froensics is the only source for a camera kit that has a Ring-Light with a series of bright white, UV 395nm and 470 nm blue LED lights that provide 360 degree shadow-free lighting.
