Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No 07 in the amount of $42,189.83 for CR 170, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Pct. 4.
Background
This Change Order adds a new Contract Item to compensate the Contractor for standby costs incurred for labor and equipment during the period of March 26, 2014 to April 23, 2014 (29 calendar days). During this time, the Contractor was unable to progress the critical path from Phase 2 to Phase 3 of the Traffic Control Plan due to differing elevations between the proposed roadway and the existing roadway. This Change Order also adds one (1) month of barricade and traffic handling for the time added by this standby period.
