Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding: 1) setting a public hearing proposed for on or about July 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Williamson County Commissioners Courtroom for consideration of Site Regulation of Solid Waste Disposal for the unincorporated areas of Williamson County (outside municipal boundaries); and 2) authorizing newspaper publication of same for two consecutive weeks pursuant to Tex. Health & Safety Code § 363.112 and § 364.012.

Background

Tex. Health & Safety Code § 363.112 and § 364.012 authorized county zoning of further landfills in unincorporated areas. A public hearing and publication of notice is mandatory before such regulation may go into effect.
