Discuss, consider and take appropriate action, including but not limited to, approving Contract Amendment and Change Order #8 for additional construction services from Sunbelt Building Services for Williamson County Courthouse (Remove and replace the concrete at the Porticos) and, only if necessary, find exception to competitive bidding requirements for procurement of change order amounts above twenty-five percent of original project budget pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(2) (“public health or safety”) and § 262.024(3) (potential “unforeseen damage to public property”) in order to complete project in the public interest. (Note: Additional engineering work already completed by Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc.).
