Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the renewal of Aggregate, Bid #14IFB00230 for same pricing, terms and conditions as existing contract for items 1, 2 and 3 with Industrial Asphalt & Aggregates and with a price increase to $46.14 for item 4 with Vulcan Construction for the term of June 10, 2015 through June 9, 2016.

Background

This is the first of 2 (1) year renewal terms for this contract. While Industrial Asphalt and Aggregates is wishing to extend for the same price, terms and conditions for items 1,2 and 3, Vulcan Construction Materials is asking for a 2.7% price increase to cover higher production costs due to increases in labor, outside contractors (electricians, welders) and replacement of wear items. This increase has been approved by the Director of Road and Bridge.
