Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing advertisement and setting date of July 29, 2014 at 3:00PM in the Purchasing Department to receive qualifications for Professional Architectural/Engineering Services for Brushy Creek Regional Trail Phase V Development RFQ#14RFQ00109.

Background

Williamson County is seeking the services of qualified professional firms/teams for Phase V development of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail. The project scope includes, but is not limited to development of approximately 2.75 miles of trail generally along
Brushy Creek, to include trail access points, site amenities, interpretive signage, pedestrian creek crossing, and open spaces. Project development will also include the preparation of schematics, geotechnical investigation and report, all permitting, identification and coordination of utilities and any related conflicts, structural engineering and bridge design, public involvement, and any other items necessary to successfully develop the project.
