Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding bids received for Aggregate,bid #14IFB00230, to the lowest and best bids meeting specifications, Industrial Asphalt & Aggregate and Vulcan Materials.
Background
The contract term is for 12 months with two (2) 12 month extension options. The Recommended Award is as follows:- Industrial Asphalt primary vendor on items 1,2 & 3; Vulcan Materials primary vendor for item 4. (Note: The bid tabulation shows Industrial Asphalt as the low bidder for item #4. Their bid on this item was submitted in error and withdrawn as they do not produce this material.)
