Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the sale of the following surplus property to the City of Jarrell Police Department as authorized by TLGC §263.152 (a) (1):
_1_ Motorola XTL2500 Dash Mount Mobile Subscriber radio – Sales price _$ 3,007.50

Background

This mobile subscriber unit is part of a cache of radios that remained from the radio systems analog to digital cutover in the mid 2000’s. The unit is still new in box, but has exceeded manufacturer warranty date for coverage and as of 2018 will be at end of life for support and maintenance. It is still a viable radio to be utilized on the County’s network and will allow the purchaser the ability to equip a newly added vehicle to their fleet for public safety.
