Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the employment of legal counsel to represent the Commissioners Court, in their official and individual capacities, and Williamson County in the suit Civil Action No. 1:13- cv- 505, Robert Lloyd v. Lisa Birkman, et al, In The United States District Court For the Western District of Texas, Austin Division, and in representation of the County in any related EEOC claims; and consider approval of the exemption of those attorney services from the competitive proposal/bid procedures of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Section 262.024(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
