The proposed compensation policy was reviewed and discussed on 6/5/12 and 6/12/12. This agenda item continues the discussion and review of the policy revisions.
On 6/12/12, a general plan was laid out during the Court’s discussion. It is:
1) Schedule a Budget Workshop specifically to discuss the Proposed Compensation Plan on July 10th.
2) Continue Court review and discussion every week until July 10th.
3) Upon obtaining legal review and recommendations for the proposed policy, distribute the proposed, revised policy to all Elected Officials and Department Heads along with information about the July 10th Budget Workshop.
4) Approve a compensation plan in the next 4 weeks.
5) Provide communications and training to all employees and supervisors regarding the approved compensation plan. Training would include compensation plan policy provisions as well as performance evaluation processes.
