To discuss and consider approving line item transfer for County Sheriff.

Background

This transfer request is being made to purchase replacement bulletproof vests as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Each bulletproof vest is custom fitted per person. Since the Sheriff's Office is now at near full employment, bulletproof vests are required to be purchased for each new employee. While all prior employees' vests are returned, they will not fit nor provide the required safety measures.
