To consider authorizing the County Judge to sign a contract with Motorola for Radio Tower Sites # 6 and 7.

Background

Site # 6 will be on High Country Blvd in Round Rock. This will help Round Rock and Hutto with their building penetration using hand held radios. We have had discussions with Jim Nuse and Chief Ryle on this project and they both approve. Site # 7 is on Tower Road off of Co Rd 258. This tower will help with building penetration in Sun City and Cedar Park. Currently Charley Crossfield is negotiating with one of two property owners at that site. This is a not to exceed contract for $3,555,254.05 and has been approved by Hal Hawes.
