Consider approving Change Order No. 19 in the amount of $64,437.41 for Pond Springs, a Road Bond Project in Precinct 1.

Background

The headwalls (heights) that were bid on for the project's three main culverts differ from the heights shown on the culvert layout sheets and what is required to meet field conditions. This change order covers the construction of the headwall's actual height at the upstream and downstream end of each culvert. In addition, to construct the new widened roadway over the southwest corner of Culvert #2, the upstream headwall had to be lengthened, which will require drilling piers and addtional traffic control.
