Consider accepting a donation of $1281.00 for a memorial bench in Champion Park in memory of Paul D. Brown from Joan Brown and family.

Background

Paul Brown was instrumental in developing the “feel” of Champion Park. Mrs. Joan Brown and family have donated $1281.00 for a memorial bench that will be placed around the new Dino climbing play area recently installed at Champion Park. The bench will be of the same design as exists in the park today. Mrs. Brown also wishes to donate in the fall to the memorial tree program to have a tree planted to shade the bench to honor her late husband.
