Discuss and take appropriate action regarding granting a 30 day extension (making the due date June 30, 2010) to ESD#5 for the audit FY2009.

Background

June 1, 2010

To the Office of Judge Dan Gattis:

This letter is to formally request that ESD#5 be granted an extension for the audit FY2009. We now realize that June 1 is the due date, but are requesting an extension to July 1, 2010. The board signed a letter of engagement this evening to have the office of John C. Lewis, PC prepare the audit and we look forward to presenting the information and findings in a timely manner. Thank you again for your consideration and help.
