Agenda Item

Discuss and consider addendum to the agreement relating to the Right-of-Way within the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District.

Background
In July of 2000 the Commissioner's Court passed an agreement with the Brushy Creek MUD regarding the maintenance of medians.  The District now desires to install certain signs within public rights-of-way within the district prusuant to its right-of-way beatification powers, and the parties desire to enter into an agreement to allow installation of new signage as well as replacement of existing signage.

In order to regulate the signage, Commissioner Birkman would suggest that the attached addendum be considered.

This agreement would limit the number of signs and the placement of said signs would need to be approved by the county engineer.

The agreement would include the area along Great Oaks Drive in the "South" from Highway 620 to Hairy Man Road and Great Oaks Drive in the "North" from Sam Bass Road to Carmel.
