BE IT REMEMBERED that at 9:03 A.M. on TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2020, a SPECIAL SESSION of the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

1. Review and approval of minutes.
  Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Terry Cook

Motion: To approve the Minutes of the May 19, 2020 meeting.

Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
  First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.
 
  Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey 
  Second by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Terry Cook 
Motion: To authorize the payment of bills totaling $7,101,121.21 from the computer printout, Addendum, Wire Transfer, Quick Check Report, Electronic Benefit Payments and the Wilco Forward Program from the proper line items, if found by the County Auditor to be legal expenses as appropriated in the County Budget.

4. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on grant applications to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for the fiscal year 2020 Adult Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant program to support the County Court at Law 2 Veterans Treatment Court program.
  County Court at Law 2 Judge Laura Barker addressed the Court.
  Motion by: County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. 
  Second by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Terry Cook 
Motion: To approve grant applications to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for the fiscal year 2020 Adult Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant program to support the County Court at Law 2 Veterans Treatment Court program.

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a compensation policy change to include, but not be limited to authorizing an Emergency Medical Services' employee to take up to his or her normal rate of pay, through their accrued leave time or other form of County paid supplement, when out on COVID-19 related leave.
  Senior Director of Human Resources Rebecca Clemons addressed the Court.

  Second by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Terry Cook

7. Comments from Commissioners.
  Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey announced the Southwest Bypass opened this morning with a special thanks to Texas Crushed Stone and the City of Georgetown.
