3. – TXDOT Material Testing Agreement- The current agreement with TxDOT expired at the end of 2014. The new agreement provides a continued mechanism for TxDOT to perform materials inspection/testing on request for County projects through the end of 2018. This inspection occurs only at the request of the County, and typically includes inspection of precast concrete boxes and bridge beams at the manufacturing facility prior to casting.
