Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Change Order No 1 in the amount of -$5,476.08 for Lakeline Blvd Phase 2, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Precinct 2.
Background
The Change Order compensates the Contractor for various revisions to the original contract items, including the deletion of lime treated subgrade with the concurrence of the geotechnical engineer, and adds new Contract items for regrading a ditch, relocating driveway pipe, mitigation of karst feature discovered during construction and fence repair. This Change Order also adds work to the Contract that fulfills commitments made by the City of Leander in the right of way agreements with property owners. The City of Leander will pay for the additional work called out in the right of way acquisition in the amount of $47,510.42.
