Discuss and take appropriate action to recognize Assistant County Attorney, David Brown and Assistant County Attorney, Ryan Palmquist who have each been honored by the Williamson County Bar Association as “Young Lawyer of the Year”. David Brown received this honor in 2014 and Ryan Palmquist received this honor in 2015.

Background

The Williamson County Bar Association gives this award yearly to recognize the best young lawyer in the county. The award is given for proficiency as well as service to the profession and the community.

To be considered for the bar award nominees must be members of the Williamson County Bar Association in good standing who are 36 years of age or younger as of May 2nd of the year of the selection, or who have had their law license less than 10 years.
