Discuss and approve Equipment Rental Agreement from Miller BluePrint on wide format copier for County Clerk.

Background

Burks who is our current vendor wanted us to change the wide format copier we have had since 2006 because of its age. After review of their current products we continued to see what others had to offer. Miller Blueprint in Austin offered a machine for $40 a month less although we would have to pay for toner. The paper roll we currently use fits in the Kip3100 machine which also takes up the same amount of floor space as the Xerox6204. We average 150 copies per month on this machine.

This agreement has been reviewed by Stan Springerley and Jolene Crist of Contract Audit and Shannon Francis of the CA Civil Div. I have their emails from them all about reviewing and not having any issues plus having it go through Comm. Court since it requires a signature from the County Judge.
