Discuss and take action on the release of remaining FY12 Homeland Security Grant funds ($15k) and authorize the County Judge to sign the Grant Adjustment Notice.

Background

Williamson County was awarded excess FY12 Homeland Security Grant funds in the amount of $64,000 for the purchase of radiological detection equipment. Secondary to County purchasing guidelines $15,000 of the funds were not able to be utilized within the remaining grant performance period. The funds are being released back to the State of Texas.
