Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the resolution for Children's Mental Health Awareness Day in Williamson County.

Background

Matt Smith, Chair of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Subcommittee of the Williamson County Mental Health Taskforce, requests that the court read the attached resolution in recognition of Children's Mental Health Awareness Day in Williamson County. Youth artwork submitted to the state creativity contest -- "What Happiness Means to Me" will be displayed in the lobby and Matt will announce the Round Rock Express game event on May 6, 2014 at 7pm. Those attending the game are encouraged to wear green in honor of the day and bring a packaged kite that will be donated to a local children's charity in honor of the state theme, "Stand Up and Soar for Children's Mental Health." The subcommittee will be hosting a booth at the game with Children's Mental Health Awareness resource information.
