Please consider and approve a line item transfer for the District Attorney's Office.

Background

Funds were designated in the computer software line item for updates to Apple laptops leased by the previous administration. The Apple laptops are not compatible with the programs necessary to transition to going paperless. The Apple laptops will be phased out in order to meet this transition. With these funds, we are asking to purchase 3 Dell laptops, 2 scanners and one printer. The laptops will be used in the courtrooms by prosecutors. The scanners and printer will be used for intake.
