Consider approving Change Order No. 6 in the amount of -$313.92 for SH 29 Two-Way Left Turn Lane, a Road Bond project in Precinct Two.

Background

This Change Order adds an asphalt overlay to six (6) driveways where the original design plans specified only a seal coat. The addition of an asphalt overlay on these driveways matches the roadway pavement surface course and other driveways on the project. This Change Order also documents overruns and underruns to various existing bid items due to actual field conditions, including various erosion control items were not needed (underrun) due to the drought conditions (rock filter dams, construction exits, backhoe hours, and temporary seeding) and additional guardrail installed due to a steep slope along the roadway.
