Discuss and take appropriate action on an amendment to the AirCheck Program Grant Activity Plan (GAP) to modify section 9.3.2 to reflect a 30 day acceptance period for documentation from the vendor for reimbursement under the DriveACleanMachine vehicle replacement grant program.

Background

Section 9.3.2 of the GAP presently provides for a 15-day acceptance period for appropriate documentation to be received by the Williamson County AirCheck Program Administrator. The recommendation is to change Section 9.3.2 to a 30-day acceptance period. This will bring the GAP into alignment with language in the current Low Income Repair, Retirement and Replacement Program (LIRAP) contract between the county and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

This GAP amendment has been discussed and reviewed with Counsel and with the Audit department and with Internal Audit.

A copy of the GAP is attached.
