Hear presentation and recognize David Dukes, Assistant Financial Director, of the County Auditor's Office with the Certified Public Finance Officers designation of the Government Finance Officers Association.

Background

Micki Rundell, Chief Financial Officer for the City of Georgetown, and Past President for the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas will make the presentation.

David Dukes has been employed with the County for almost 7 years. He has worked in HR and the Auditor's Office during his tenure. He holds a degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. All of David’s prior work experience is in oil and gas with employers such as Duke Energy and ConocoPhillips. As the Assistant Financial Director, David manages the accountanting staff and assists the staff with their daily assignments. Reviews accounting transactions, is responsible for producing the Popular Annual Financial Report and is the administrator for the County Auditor’s website.
