Discuss and take appropriate action regarding recognition of May 2011 as International Internal Audit Awareness Month.
Background
The Institute of Internal Auditor's has declared the month of May 2011 as Internal Internal Audit Awareness Month. We would like to take this opportunity to stress the importance of Internal Audit in any organization and explain the role in County Government. We would also like to recognize the Internal Audit Division of the County Auditor's office and the staff that perform this very important function.
