Consider approving Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $39,057.66 for US 183, a Pass Through Financing Project in Precinct 2.

Background

This change order is to rectify the existing condition of the water service lines at nine locations. In the existing condition, the meters for the service lines are within the new US 183 ROW and the private lines to the meters are at elevations that intercept ditch lines and the pavement sections, and are of unknown materials which may not meet project or utility company specifications. The existing services were identified in the Inter-Local Agreement between Chisholm Trail Special Utility District (CTSUD) and Williamson County; however they were not shown on the plans and subsequently not included in the bid documents.
As required by the Pass Through Financing Agreement, TxDOT has concurred with this Change Order.
