The commissioners court previously approved an easement that was intended to replace the single phase electrical service to the Williamson County Landfill and provide three phase electrical service in its place. Such easement was approved by the court at its June 24, 2008 session. Following the courts approval, it was determined that such easement contained an error in the description of the easement. The proposed Correction Easement and Right of Way will replace the prior easement and thereby correct the property description error. The proposed Correction Easement and Right of Way will serve the same purpose as the prior easement that was approved by the court. Specifically, the proposed Correction Easement and Right of Way will provide an easement for the three phase electrical service that is needed to power the expanded gas collection system as well as to provide power to two pilot recycling projects at the landfill. The current single phase electrical service does not provide enough service to power these items. Waste Management is paying the costs associated with obtaining the said three phase electrical service. |
