Recognition of and award of military medals to World War II veteran Livey Gault.

Background

Mr. Livie Gault, Jr., a lifelong resident of Taylor, Texas served with the United States Navy aboard the USS Lubbock in the Pacific during World War II. He served honorably from June 9, 1943 to January 11, 1946. At his discharge, he was entitled to certain medals and decorations in accordance with his service, but never received these awards. His son, Kevin Gault, an honorably discharged veteran of the Air Force, ordered these medals from the Department of the Navy.We wish now to correct that oversight and make a formal presentation of these awards of service, honorably discharged.
