Discuss, consider and take any appropriate action to approve agreement between Williamson County Constable's Office, Pct. 1 and the Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation to allow participation in compliance audit and best practices review for purpose of obtaining recognized status with foundation. Action may include, but is not limited to, acceptance of gift to pay for annual foundation dues (pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 81.032) and authorize both elected Constable and County Judge to sign agreement and any related documents.

Background

State Recognition program from the Texas Police Chiefs Association to meet standards of 166 policy and procedures that will demonstrate to the community and county a high level of professionalism from this agency.
