Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding bids received for Emulsions, Bid# 15IFB111 to the best bidder Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions Inc.as primary vendor and Western Emulsions, Inc as secondary.

Background

After in depth evaluation which was based not only on price, but also on quality of bidder's goods and/or service, bidder's experience and reputation, it is the recommendation of the Road and Bridge Department to award this contract to Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions Inc, the second lowest bidder as a primary vendor due to their positive performance record with the County. Western Emulsions will be recommended as the secondary vendor.
