Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on terminating an Interlocal Agreement for Habitual Violator Program (Contract No. 87-4XXF5001) relating to the Office of Williamson County Constable, Pct. 1 provision of targeted law enforcement services in support of the State of Texas - Habitual Toll Violator Program.

Background

Since March 2014, the Williamson County Constable's Office of Precinct No. 1 has engaged in working an approved Inter-local Agreement; Contract No. 87-4XXF5001 as it relates to providing law enforcement services through extra duty employment to target and enforce the State of Texas' Habitual Violator Program on Toll Projects. Since the inception of this contract through the course of 12 months, only one identified habitual violator has been located on the toll road in which enforcement action was taken.
Based on the lack of success in locating identified habitual violators and various other reasons, the Williamson County Constable's Office of Precinct No. 1 requests to terminate the contract term by way of providing a 30 day notice to TXDOT.
