Discuss and take appropriate action on the Emergency Communications Dispatch Steering Committee Bylaws. The Dispatch Steering Committee will provide guidance, community input, and oversight on 9-1-1 call taking, radio dispatching, and other emergency communications related activities.

Background

The Dispatch Steering Committee will provide guidance, community input, and oversight on 9-1-1 call taking, radio dispatching, and other emergency communications related activities.

The Dispatch Steering Committee will be in a position to review the practices, policies, procedures, and processes of Williamson County Emergency Communications. The Dispatch Steering Committee will provide guidance and recommendations on "best practices" for the agencies and communities served by WCEC. This document was reviewed by Stan Springerley. This updated approved version incorporates many of the suggestions offered by the Commissioners and Judge during the development of the concept for this committee.
