Discuss and take appropriate action on exempting purchase for the Justice of the Peace Precinct#4 Security System upgrade from Commercial Security Integration, in the amount of $29,085.00, from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (2) of the Texas Local Government Code, as an item necessary to preserve or protect the public health or safety of the residents of the County;

Background

Attached communication provided by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 explains the need for the purchase of the Security System upgrade to be exempted from the bidding/proposal requirements as per Section 262.024 (a) (2) of the Texas Local Government Code.
