Discuss and take appropriate action on extending Williamson County Bid#14IFB00133 General Roadway Cast In Place Concrete with Myers Concrete Construction, LP and RHB Construction (complete list of items attached) for the same pricing, terms and conditions as the existing contract.

Background

All awarded vendors have been contacted and asked to extend. Only Myers and RHB responded and agreed. Therefore all items previously awarded to the non-responsive vendors will now move to secondary and tertiary vendors as reflected on bid tab. This extension will expire on August 31, 2014. The PPI for concrete is still rising therefore it is in the best interest to extend with the existing vendors as bidding out at this time may likely increase pricing.
